Hotel Sorup Herregaard - Ringsted

The surroundings were very peaceful and beautiful, with a large lake nearby that provided a lovely view. the hotel had a nice indoor pool and sauna, which were very relaxing. the breakfast was also really good, with a wide variety of options.

The rooms were very basic and outdated, with uncomfortable beds and noisy fans. the bathroom was small and in need of renovation.

The setting of the hotel, an old manor, is beautiful as situated in a park among lakes and trees in the quiet of the countryside. The breakfast buffet is excellent including a large variety of dark bread and taken in the restaurant (or even outside on the terrace ) overlooking the lake.

Rooms are a bit small and on the basic side, beds were too soft to our liking. Ask for a room towards the park as those to the car parking are noisier.

location in the middle off nowhere. Very nice lake and environment. The hotel room is clean but basic. No decorations.

For the swimming-pool you have to walk around the pool with shoes on to reach the small common dressing-room. Sauna and solar are very primitive. Restaurant has a limited choice(2 main-course: meat or fish) and the food was not very good. You can not choose your table free and even have the risk sitting together with strangers. No bar available. This seams more a seminary hotel. Basic breakfast.

Tasty breakfast, kid-friendly pool, beautiful outside area, nice spa and swimming pool, lovely setting and grounds, excellent indoor swimming pool.

Never again > In the restaurant they ignored us totaly. Then we are not from Denmark like all the other guests. For a normal dinner we need more then 2 hours. The first contact to the waitress we haved after loooong 25 minutes. The food come then 30 ( !! ) later. The only plus was, that the food was very tasty. Result > never again this hotel. .......When you want really nice people and a great service go over the Oeresund Bridge to Malmo. 100 percent better in all.

Nice countryside, friendly staff - definitly will cone back

This place is situated in the middle of the countryside with a long driveway leading down to the manor house. The idyllic setting, lakes, grounds, and swimming pool make it a fantastic location.

A very limited menu at the restaurant and sometimes difficult to get the attention of the waiters.

The room smelled awfully. The staff couldn't do anything about it, they said smoking was not allowed in the room but they couldn't check every guest.The hotel is very noisy. We didn't sleep very much. The matrass was old and much too soft. They had no place at breakfast because all tables were booked in advance, the bbq in the evening was unsufficient, half of the meat was not available anymore, the meat was cold etc... a very bad experience. Not worth its 4 stars!

The manor house is located next to a picturesque lake and has a lovely walking path in the forest. the food at the restaurant is amazing and the service is great. Breakfast was really good too.

The noise level is high and not soundproofed.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It is set in the middle of the countryside and has a long driveway leading down to the manor house. The hotel facilities include a swimming pool and spa, which are both very nice. the staff is friendly and cute, and the hotel's cleanliness is excellent.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Beautiful setting, serene environment, and delicious food.

Poor room amenities, noisy environment, and poor communication.
